Getting to Know the Global Bar

Understanding the Global Bar and Its Icons​

All central functions of the client are permanently available in the Global Bar, so that they can be accessed quickly at any time.

Global Bar (from left to right): Home, Calendar, Index Search, Favorites, Global Menu, Quick Entry, Help, Notifications, User Menu

  • On the left-hand side are:

    • the 🏠 home button, to open the home Dashboard "My Dashboard".
    • the 📅 calendar button, to open the calendar.
    • the 🔍 search button, to open the field for entering search terms into the ADITO index search.
    • the ⭐ favorite button, to open the overview of all important records and Favorites.

  • In the middle is the button (dropdown) for the Global Menu.

  • On the right-hand side are:

    • the ➕ Quick Entry, to open the creation of a new record for various Contexts as quickly as possible.
    • the ❔ help button, to open the xRM-Help directly.
    • the 🔔 notification button, to view notifications about important events (the number of unread notifications is displayed as a number on the icon).
    • the ⚙️ user menu button, to open the User Menu to make individual settings.
