Operating Concept - Navigating within a Context
First, what is meant by the term "Context" in ADITO?
A Context brings together all views, functions, and Actions related to a specific object type – for example, "Contact", "Company", or "Opportunity". A Context typically contains several views that offer different perspectives on the data of the same object type:

| Preview | Preview of a single record to provide a brief overview of its most important information |
| MainView | MainView with detailed information to comprehensively view all information on the record |
| EditView | EditView for capturing and changing data |
Context-specific functions and Actions are available in each of these views.
When the Context "Company" is opened in ADITO via the Global Menu, the FilterView opens first, in which companies can be filtered.
From there, the Preview or directly the MainView can be opened.
The EditView can be opened from any of the other three views.
Why is this concept important?
The Context is the fundamental navigation and working model in ADITO. It ensures that all functions and data of an object type are logically grouped together.
