Data Protection Administration

In the "Data protection administration" Context, the data privacy functions of the system are configured and controlled centrally. System Managers and Data Privacy Agents work here to ensure GDPR-compliant processing of personal data.

The Context is displayed in the Global Menu in the menu group "Administration" and contains two tabs:

"Deletion indicators" for managing deletion indicators and for triggering the marking and deletion process
"Relevant Attributes" for marking data privacy-relevant attributes

To be able to delete or anonymize personal data automatically in a GDPR-compliant way, a deletion indicator is set on the respective dataset. This submits the dataset to the deletion/anonymization process.

System Setting

🛠️ → Activating the data privacy functions in the system

The setting described here can be activated or deactivated by an ADITO xRM Consultant.

The system option dsgvo.aktiv under _____PREFERENCES_PROJECT:Custom controls whether the data privacy functions are displayed to the user in the system.

dsgvo.aktiv: TRUE displays the "Data Privacy" tab in the "Contact" Context. When saving data privacy-relevant information, the user receives a notification that the legal basis and the purpose for this information must be documented in the "Data Privacy" tab (see Ensuring Data Privacy Compliance).
dsgvo.aktiv: FALSE hides the tab and the notification functionality accordingly.
